This flight departs from Swakopmund and takes you over the Moon Landscape, the Swakop and Khan river as well as the Kuiseb river. This river host a natural boarder between the barren Namib Desert and the dune landscape. Along the coast line we are passing by a few seal colonies and Conception Bay. To that we will see the shipwrecked Eduard Bohlen as well as the Shawnee – these ships did not survive the harsh Altantic Ocean conditions. Your flight continues along the sea shore passing by Sandwich Harbour, a ever changing wetland, the salt mines south of Walvis Bay, the Walvis Bay harbour as well as the holiday resort Langstrand south of Swakopmund.
