About Jabulani
Jabulani has been flying guests over Southern Africa since 2008 — from a twelve-minute hop over Cape Town to a King Air crossing into the Okavango.
The company trades as Jabulani African Tours & Safaris and is registered as Jabulani Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd. The office is in Stellenbosch; the aircraft are based in Cape Town, which is where almost every flight starts.
We operate our own fleet rather than broker other people's. Six helicopters cover the scenic and experience work — two Airbus H130s, an H125, two H120s, a Bell 206 Long Ranger and two Robinson R44s — alongside a twin-engine Airbus AS 365 for two-pilot charters and weather. Two King Air BE20 turboprops, ZS-CTI and ZS-OCI, handle the long legs: Windhoek in under three hours, Maun in three-forty.
That range of aircraft is the point. A party of three on a short scenic flight and a corporate group needing eight seats to Maputo are not the same job, and putting them in the same airframe means one of them pays for capacity they do not need. We match the aircraft to the flight, and we say which aircraft you are getting before you pay.
Beyond the flying we arrange what happens on the ground: estate landings and lunch bookings in the Winelands, lodge transfers at Sanbona, Bushmans Kloof, Grootbos and Shamwari, mokoro and game drives in the delta, and logistics for hunting parties and their outfitters.

Weight limits
Helicopters are weight-limited. Robinson R44: 120 kg maximum per seat, or an average of 90 kg across the three seats, at the pilot's discretion. Airbus H120, H125 and H130: no per-seat maximum, but an average of 90 kg per seat, at the pilot's discretion. Bell 206 Long Ranger: 140 kg maximum per seat, or an average of 75 kg across three seats. A surcharge may apply if weight requires an upgrade to a larger helicopter.
Pricing
Scenic flights are priced per person with a minimum of two passengers sharing, unless an exclusive flight is booked. Flights are priced on the route booked, not on flight duration. Seating is allocated on the helicopter's weight and balance.
Booking and weather
All flights are weather permitting. Adventure and wineland experiences require a minimum of 72 hours' notice. Landing permissions and restaurant bookings are arranged on request but cannot be guaranteed. Exclusions listed against an experience are payable directly to the third-party supplier.
Children
Children of 7 and under pay 50% when flying with two full-paying adults. Children of 8 and over pay the full adult rate. One child under 7 per family of four qualifies; additional children under 7 pay full price.
